Today I made the long journey from Cheltenham to Spital Farm near Kendal in the Lake District. To celebrate great British food week we gathered together chefs from the North of England out to one of the farms where the meat they serve in the restaurants is raised. It was a great day learning about the “field to fork” and I can really appreciate the care that goes in to raising the cattle for consumption.
