A Wedding by the river (on a cold winter’s day)

Today we travelled to The Diglis House Hotel, on the the banks of the river Severn in Worcester, to photograph Cat and Rob’s Wedding. We had a great day, even if it was cold and windy (this is January though)! The sun made an appearance just in time for the ceremony, lighting up the conservatory with mid winter sunshine.

Luckily, the wind died down enough to allow us to venture outside to grab some cracking shots of the newly married Cat and Rob taking a walk along the river, where even the swans paid us a visit.

This afternoon I met up with Angela and James along with their daughters Lexie and Georgie, in Pittville Park for a location shoot. We all had a lot of fun in the unseasonal sunshine. Lexie and Georgie made great moving targets! Here are just some of the shots we took, hope you like them.

Emma and her daughter Amy came to visit us today for a studio portrait shoot. Although Amy was a little shy to begin with, she very soon relaxed in front of the camera and we had a great time. Emma asked for predominately black and white images. Here are some of my favourites.

Surprise 60th Birthday party at Whatton House

Today we travelled 100 miles north to Loughborough for a 60^th Birthday Party / family portrait shoot. We had a lovely afternoon with the grandparents, parents, sons, daughters and grandchildren shooting portraits on location. We then all met again later at Whatton House and Gardens for Jan’s surprise party. Everybody had a great time and Jan was overwhelmed by the sight of all her friends attending the party. Here are just a few of the shots taken during the day.

Marie, Craig and Bethany’s Family Portrait Shoot

Today we had the pleasure of Marie and Craig’s little girl, Bethany over for a portrait shoot. We shot Marie and Craig’s wedding way back in May 2008. It’s great to have previous wedding clients back along with thier growing families. We all had a great time and little Bethany really enjoyed herself! Hope you like the pics.

Cheltenham Racecourse Catering Promotion Shoot

This evening i was lucky enough to be invited to the prestigous Cheltenham Racecourse for a promo shoot for the catering department. The shots were all required for brochures, leaflets and signboards etc. The boys and girls were all great sports and really enjoyed the shoot. Here are just a few of the images shot this evening. Willow’s second Portrait Shoot (well, technically her third!)

We seem to have had a month of second portrait shoots for kids. Today, we saw Willow for her second portrait shoot. The first time we saw her (link) was before she underwent open heart surgery and I’m pleased to say she looks great now (the power of modern medicine). Of course, we had her whole family over including her proud little brother Miles. It was a great opportunity to use my new backgrounds as well. We had a great time. Hope you like the pics!

Seb’s Second Portrait Shoot

Almost 6 months ago to the day, we had little baby Seb over for his first portrait shoot (link). Well, today we had the pleasure of his company again. I can’t believe how grown up he looks already. He’s such a content little lad and a pleasure to photograph. I’m looking forward to his next shoot already. We’re going to have a great record of his first year.

Introducing…Graham Corbett

To introduce new bassist Graham Corbett into the band, Reason were back for another photoshoot today. They also needed some new promo shots for their latest track and forthcoming cd. As with their previous shoot, they were all well behaved and knew exactly what to do. Cheers guys, see you all again soon.

Baby Seb Ranner

One of the best things about being a photographer is the honour of being asked to photograph a couples biggest day of their life, their wedding. However, when that couple also ask you to photograph another incredible part of their life, their 4 week old son, well, that’s just amazing.
